Miklós is an honorary member of the Hungarian art historical community. There is always a contingent of art historians at the Budapest academic lectures of this biology professor. And this is also why the cream of Hungarian art historians gathered at the 2003 party I organized in his honor in Budapest (place image here). These are the people for whom Miklos’ philo-artistic, philo-scientific, indeed philanthropic gestures made it possible to travel to the US, visit museums, conduct research, and expand their horizons. And since then, the circle of those he has supported has become so much larger, that we’ll surely need a more expansive venue to celebrate his 90th!
