Over the years in New York, Miklós attended all the openings of my exhibitions. Several of my works, drawings, graphic works, and sculptures have been added to his collection. This recognition means a lot to me. Over the years, under the influence of Miklós, I also became a collector and my collection also consists mainly of Hungarian-related art, with a personal dimension, like his collection. I received the first works as gifts from Miklós: Kelemen Emil's portrait of Tibor de Nagy, a gallery owner from New York (Tibor de Nagy was my first New York gallerist) and two paintings by Menyhért Tóth. (I knew Menyhért Tóth personally when I was young, he had a great impact on me.)

We often met Miklós at concerts, performances, gatherings, and readings. I met Miklós's wife, Jan Keithly, and several of his friends. It was impressive to me that Miklós’s friends were of different ages, interests and nationalities. Miklós also speaks Russian, German and French excellently. The "Müller Hotel" was visited by legendary artists, scientists, museologists, writers, and television personalities. Without Miklós's selfless offer of accommodation, they would not have been able to travel to New York, given the hotel prices that were so unaffordable for Eastern European intellectuals.
